The Little Coffee Shop

One day a client came to me and said he had done a very cool thing, took over the local coffee shop.

Going to the store to take a look was exciting. For them as they had a shiny new business to operate and for me because I like exploring/seeing behind the scenes :)

I was tasked with designing and building some things in keeping with the shabby chic relaxed theme.

The goal was a relaxed welcoming outside, a way to attract more customers, a pastries display cabinet and creating a central island to operate from. I suggested the shop sign as sideways visibility was non existent, this would add to patrons and foot traffic. The rest you can see for yourself below.

I was asked if the central island frame would be strong enough, the photo of me sitting on it was my playful reply.
